The second “podcast” on Acecast.com. The South London band GUB playing some nice acoustic music and getting those harmonies going. One of the better tracks from their first CD. The initial “podcast” on Acecast.com. Not much to shout about, but we all have to start somewhere. Mono recording, speaking in Norwegian dialect. A little bit of more indexing had to be done in .htaccess to get this to work (I store the audio files in a separate directory with no other content).

Adding the enclosure-tag to the code breaks XHTML validation, I should be able to fix this later.

As soon as I read about podcasting back in October, I knew it was something I wanted to do. I thought long and hard about a proper domain name and investigated how to get Blosxom to provide a valid RSS 2.0 feed working with enclosures. Knowing my limitations as a logo designer, I posted for help on GetAFreelancer 11 November 2004.

I just got two replies to my request for a logo (no wonder, the project was just open for an hour or so), and a third came via email. I’ve got a logo, but so far haven’t been able to get it working with any design. So currently there is no logo on the Acecast site.
